Welcome to AAC Pro Estimator — your morning command view for work, margin, and risk. This guide gets you from a cold install to a sent estimate in five steps. No filler. No detours.

Step 1 — Set up your company

Open Settings. Add your company logo, license number, business address, and contact info. This data lands on every estimate, invoice, and PDF you send. Do it once, do it right.

Step 2 — Add your first lead

Go to the Pipeline tab and tap + New Lead. Enter the client name, address, project type, and source. Drop them into the New stage. You can move them through the pipeline as the deal progresses.

Step 3 — Build your first estimate

Tap the Estimate tab. Pull in the lead you just created. Use voice input, photo capture, or a job assembly to load scope fast. Set markup, pick a contingency buffer, and review your Estimate Readiness checklist before sending.

Step 4 — Connect QuickBooks

Open Books → QuickBooks and tap Connect. Authorize, map your income and expense accounts, and you're synced. Invoices, AR aging, and job financials flow automatically from then on.

Step 5 — Track progress in Job Cockpit

Once a lead converts, it lives in Job Cockpit. This is where you see every active job, schedule milestones, monitor margin in real time, and flag risk. It's the screen you should open every morning with your coffee.

Done — you're set up. From here, the estimate flow handles itself.
